Flaminia Veronesi's solo exhibition 'Maternità sociale. Grandemadremamma' is on view at Galleria Simóndi in Turin until April 20, 2024, curated by Andrea Lerda. The show explores the concept of 'social motherhood,' inspired by Maria Montessori's writings and a group exhibition on fungi. Veronesi argues that motherhood is not biological but a choice to care for new life, accessible to all. The exhibition features her magmatic sculptures, metamorphic works, and vibrant watercolors. Veronesi also discusses her collaboration with fashion brand Marni, including a project titled 'The Hermitcrab's Wundershell' at their Milan flagship store, and her upcoming bronze sculpture 'Pagurina' to be presented at Tommaso Calabro's gallery in Venice.
