FKA twigs dances among Isamu Noguchi works in Woolmark Prize film

Singer FKA twigs stars in a promotional short film for the International Woolmark Prize, titled PLAYSCAPE. The video, directed by Zak Group, features choreography by twigs, the Avant Garden collective, and Brazilian dancer Juliano Nunes. Shot at White Cube Bermondsey in London, the film showcases the work of seven 2022 finalists—Ahluwalia, RUI, Jordan Dalah, EGONLAB, Peter Do, MMUSOMAXWELL, and Saul Nash—around the theme of play. The set includes sculptures by Isamu Noguchi, known for playgrounds and socially engaged art. The soundtrack uses Rosie Lowe & Duval Timothy's "He Hu" and X-Ray Spex's "Identity." Appearances include artist and DJ Princess Julia, model and activist Kai-Isaiah Jamal, and French producer Kiddy Smile. The winner will be announced in London on April 26.
