Five Summer Museum Shows in Basel, 2015
This summer, Basel is vibrant with a series of noteworthy art exhibitions across its museums. The Kunsthalle Basel showcases Anicka Yi's installation, "7,070,430K of Digital Spit," open until August 16. At the Fondation Beyeler, Marlene Dumas’ exhibition runs through September 6. Museum Tinguely features Haroon Mirza's "hrm199 Ltd." until September 6 as well. The Schaulager presents "Future Present," reflecting contemporary art, which will be available until January 31, 2016. Meanwhile, the Museum für Gegenwartskunst is displaying Martin Boyce's work, also until August 16. The range of displayed mediums includes painting, installation, sound art, and sculpture.
