Five Studio Ghibli films to screen in Italian cinemas this summer

Lucky Red presents 'Un mondo di sogni animati', a summer film series featuring five iconic Studio Ghibli movies in Italian cinemas from July 1 to August 17, 2022. The lineup includes 'Spirited Away' (July 1-6), 'Princess Mononoke' (July 14-20), 'Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind' (July 21-31), 'Porco Rosso' (August 1-10, celebrating its 30th anniversary), and 'Howl's Moving Castle' (August 11-17). The series follows a recent retrospective at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles and the acquisition of the Ghibli catalog by Netflix. 'Spirited Away' won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2002 and the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2003.
