Five rare Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 models to be auctioned by Broad Arrow in Italy next month
Broad Arrow will auction five low-mileage Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 sports cars on Saturday, May 16, at Villa Erba in Italy as part of its Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event. The collection, dubbed the Ultimate R34 Skyline GT-R Collection, includes models from 1999 to 2002, with estimates ranging from $383,000 to over $1 million per vehicle. The 1999 example, tuned to over 680 hp and finished in Midnight Purple II, is expected to sell for $383,000–$471,000. A 2001 M-Spec in Silica Brass, one of 122 such finishes, could fetch $530,000–$707,000, while a 2001 V-Spec III Nismo S-Tune in Bayside Blue may reach $589,000–$825,000. From 2002, a limited-edition V-Spec II Nür in Millenium Jade is estimated at $442,000–$550,000, and a rare CRS example restored at Nismo’s Omori factory in Gunmetal could command $825,000–$1 million. Acquiring all five cars might cost up to $3.5 million or more. The R34, produced from 1999 to 2002, features a 2.6-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine with around 330 hp, a six-speed manual transmission, and advanced tech like a 5.8-inch LCD screen. Its popularity was boosted by appearances in the Fast & the Furious film series and Gran Turismo video games.
