Five Open Calls: Fuksas Logo Contest, SI FEST Photo Prize, MArteLive Sardegna, Goethe Residencies, Scogliera Viva

Eur Spa has launched a competition for a new logo for La Nuvola, the Rome convention center designed by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas. The call is open to graduates in Design, Arts, or Graphic Advertising; the winner receives €5,000. Deadline: June 3, 2021. The 20th edition of the Marco Pesaresi Prize for contemporary photography, promoted by the Municipality of Savignano sul Rubicone in partnership with Rimini and Savignano Immagini, is open to photographers born after January 1, 1981. The winner, selected by a jury including Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Denis Curti, and others, receives €5,000 and an exhibition at SI FEST 2022. Deadline: June 30, 2021. MArteLive Sardegna, a multidisciplinary festival-contest, returns to Cagliari on September 4, 2021, with categories including Visual Arts (curated by Roberta Vanali), Performing Arts, Audiovisuals, Music, and extra sections Fashion & Recycling and Crafts. Deadline: July 31, 2021. The Goethe-Institut offers three artist residencies in Germany focusing on the history of the SchUM communities (Speyer, Worms, Mainz). Residencies last 4-6 weeks between October 2021 and February 2022. Deadline: July 1, 2021. Scogliera Viva, the international open-air sculpture prize in Caorle (Venice), awards €2,000 each to three winners. Selected artists create works on the seafront reef from June 17-26, 2021, with food and lodging provided. Deadline: May 17, 2021.
