Five New Photography Books from Toscani to Graham

Five photography books have been released, covering diverse subjects from Oliviero Toscani's autobiography to Paul Graham's 'Troubled Land'. Toscani's 'Ne ho fatte di tutti i colori' (La Nave di Teseo, 2022) recounts his six-decade career in an informal conversational style. Paul Graham's 'Troubled Land' (MACK, 2022), originally published in 1986, returns in a new edition capturing Northern Ireland's political tensions through landscape and social reportage. The 'Collezione Marone' is highlighted in 'Immagini di una storia' (Nomos Edizioni, 2022), curated by Angela Madesani, featuring Italian photographers from the early 20th century to the present, including Antonio Giulio Bragaglia, Tina Modotti, Mimmo Jodice, Gabriele Basilico, and Letizia Battaglia. 'Photo No-Nos' (Aperture, 2021), edited by Jason Fulford, humorously explores clichéd subjects to avoid photographing. 'Italy 1900. A Portrait in Color' (Taschen, 2022) presents vintage photochromes and postcards from the unification era, edited by Marc Walter, Sabine Arqué, and Giovanni Fanelli.
