Five Must-See Art Fairs in February 2020 Across Three Continents

February 2020 is set to host a variety of global art fairs. The 21st edition of Art Rotterdam will take place from February 6–9 at Van Nellefabriek, featuring The Performance Show curated by Zippora Elders, the Mural Machinepainting Show with artists Thomas Trum, Ash Keating, and Rutger de Vries, along with citizenM Projections. Frieze Los Angeles is scheduled for February 14–16 at Paramount Pictures Studios, highlighting over 70 galleries, a Focus LA section curated by Rita Gonzalez, and Frieze Projects. The Cape Town Art Fair, also on February 14–16 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, is curated by Nkule Mabaso, Luigi Fassi, Portia Malatjie, and Tumelo Mosaka. Additionally, the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair will occur on February 22–23 at La Mamounia, while ARCOMadrid's 39th edition runs from February 26 to March 1 at IFEMA, featuring 209 galleries and a curated section by Alejandro Cesarco, Mason Leaver-Yap, and Manuel Segade.
