Five major exhibitions across Asia explore ecological collapse, Asian futurism, and intimate human experiences
From September 3, 2025, to February 1, 2026, the Art Sonje Center in Seoul will be transformed into a sculptural ecosystem by Adrián Villar Rojas. Meanwhile, Gwangju's National Asian Culture Center marks its 10th anniversary with 'Manifesto of Spring,' showcasing 15 new commissions that reflect on the 1980 uprising and ecological issues, running from September 5, 2025, to February 22, 2026. Kanazawa's 21st Century Museum will host Kongkee's first solo exhibition in Japan, titled 'Electronic Heart Beat,' from October 18, 2025, to March 22, 2026. Félix González-Torres's first solo show in Hong Kong at David Zwirner is scheduled for November 19, 2025, to February 28, 2026, followed by Un Cheng's display of 21 new oil paintings at Blindspot Gallery from December 2, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
