Five Emerging Designers to Watch from London Fashion Week
London Fashion Week showcased the imaginative designs of emerging talents. Molly Goddard, who graduated from Central Saint Martins, established her brand in 2015, secured the Emerging Talent award in 2016, was a finalist for the 2017 LVMH Prize, and won the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund in May 2018. Her AW22 line features a blend of military-inspired elements and feminine touches. Maximilian Davis, aged 26 and recently appointed creative director at Ferragamo, draws inspiration from his Trinidadian heritage, presenting 1960s and 1970s tailoring in his AW22 collection. Richard Quinn, another Central Saint Martins graduate, launched his label in 2017, recognized for its prints and 1980s style. Michael Halpern, also an alumnus, designs sequined dresses influenced by his mother. Nensi Dojaka, born in 1994, won the 2021 LVMH Prize and introduced down jackets in her AW22 collection.
