Five Basel exhibitions feature Anne Imhof, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Jonathan Monk, Tobias Rehberger, and Michael Landy

Anne Imhof presents 'Angst' at Kunsthalle Basel until 21 August 2016, an opera-like exhibition with performers, choreography, and live falcons, including a five-hour act on 15 June. Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's 'Preabsence' at HeK runs through 28 August, featuring interactive installations on surveillance and digital presence, with his work 'Zoom Pavilion' also at Art Basel Unlimited. Jonathan Monk's exhibition at Kunsthaus Baselland until 17 July displays life-size installation photos as wallpaper, creating a trompe-l'oeil effect. Tobias Rehberger's '24 Stops' is a five-kilometer path between Fondation Beyeler in Switzerland and Vitra Campus in Germany, marked by 24 artistic waymarkers. Michael Landy's survey 'Out of Order' at Museum Tinguely Basel through 25 September includes works from 1990 to 2015, such as 'Breakdown' and 'Breaking News', exploring value and consumer culture. These shows coincide with Art Basel events in June 2016.
