First Italian Retrospective of Rebecca Horn at Castello di Rivoli
The Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea is showcasing 'Rebecca Horn – Cutting Through the Past', marking the artist's first retrospective in an Italian public museum and the first since her passing in 2024. Curated by Marcella Beccaria and organized in collaboration with Haus der Kunst in Munich, the exhibition highlights over five decades of Horn's work, featuring installations, sculptures, videos, films, and drawings, with contributions from the Moontower Foundation in Germany. Notable pieces include early drawings, performances from 1970-1975, kinetic works like 'Pfauenmaschine' (1982) and 'Concert for Anarchy' (2006), as well as significant installations such as 'Inferno' (1993-2024) and 'Miroir du Lac' (2004). Additionally, three works are exhibited at the Collezione Federico Cerruti.
