First International Forum on Cultural Institution Sustainability Launches in Santa Sofia
Scheduled for September 26 to 28, 2025, the inaugural International Forum on the Sustainability of Cultural Institutions will take place in Santa Sofia, Italy. This hybrid gathering aims to bring together researchers, professionals, and scholars to discuss the future and significance of cultural institutions. Among the distinguished attendees are philosopher Timothy Morton and choreographer Jérôme Bel. The forum is organized by the cultural startup Institution, established by Fabio Cavallucci, with backing from local authorities. It will be hosted at venues such as Galleria Comunale d'Arte Contemporanea Vero Stoppioni and will feature international events in New York and Dongguan, China. The program includes eight thematic tables, three keynote speeches, and the launch of the Circular Network for the Territory, emphasizing sustainability through a hybrid format and a tree-planting initiative with Alberitalia.
