First Graphic Novel Dedicated to Diego Rivera Published by Centauria

Andrea Voglino and Luca Bertelè have created the first comic book biography of Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, titled "Diego Rivera. L’arte, l’amore, la furia." Published by Centauria in Milan, the 128-page volume traces Rivera's life from his training in Mexico and Spain to his monumental works, political activism, and tumultuous relationships, notably with Frida Kahlo. The graphic novel combines biography, travelogue, and American history, featuring illustrations by Bertelè and colors by Manuela Nerolini. Voglino describes the project as a tribute to an artist often overlooked outside Mexico, emphasizing Rivera's larger-than-life personality and complex legacy. The book is part of Centauria's series of illustrated biographies of great masters.
