First Edition of Attraverso Festival in Langhe, Roero, Monferrato

The first edition of Attraverso, a festival combining concerts, theater, food, and wine, will take place from August 24 to September 4 in the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato regions of Piedmont, Italy. These areas, known for producing world-class wines like Barolo, Barbaresco, Asti Spumante, and Barbera d'Asti, were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014. The festival is an evolution of Sale, a project launched in 2015 in the Ovadese and Gaviese areas, sharing organizers Associazione Culturale Hiroshima Mon Amour, Movimento di Resilienza Italiana, and new partner Produzioni Fuorivia. Attraverso is an itinerant event spanning 19 municipalities in the provinces of Cuneo, Alessandria, and Asti, featuring performances at abbeys, squares, courtyards, and castles. Highlights include pianist Ezio Bosso performing at the Agenzia Pollenzo courtyard and a 3D visual mapping piece titled "Attraverso Paesaggi – Musica da vedere, immagini da ascoltare" in Casale Monferrato's historic center. Guided tours are offered to sites such as Alba Sotterranea, the Torre di Barbaresco, the Castello di Monticello Borgo, the INFERNOT caves at the Eco Museo della Pietra da Cantoni di Cella Monte, and exhibitions at Fondazione Bottari Lattes. The Parco artistico nel Vigneto Orme su La Court features installations by Emanuele Luzzati and Ugo Nespolo.
