First Atlas of Italian Cultural and Creative Enterprises Published by Treccani
Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani has released the inaugural Atlas of Italian Cultural and Creative Enterprises (ICC), which catalogs more than 180,000 businesses spanning 10 different sectors. Under the direction of Roberto Grossi, the project features input from organizations such as Cultura Italiae, Unioncamere, AICI, Istat, Istituto per il Credito Sportivo, Intesa Sanpaolo, ANCI, Federculture, and Fondazione Fitzcarraldo. This sector supports approximately 830,000 jobs and led to the creation of nearly 280,000 contracts in 2022. The Ministry reports that its added value varies between 3% and 16%. The atlas provides a comprehensive overview, enterprise and employment data, and highlights of excellence. Carlo Brugnoni praised its scientific rigor, while Giuseppe Tripoli highlighted its economic significance and cultural influence.
