Film Evening Explores War's Impact on Everyday Life in Bosnia
Mark your calendar for June 2, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM, because the Belvedere in Vienna is hosting a film screening called "Outside of what I can see, framed within my window." This screening is curated by Asija Ismailovski and Hana Ćurak and is part of a larger exhibition that concludes the two-year initiative titled "the secret is that there is no secret," led by Ivet Ćurlin and Nataša Ilić from WHW at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Kicking off the event is Alen Šimić's film "B4" from 2020, along with other works that reflect on life during and after the Bosnian War. The films tackle themes like acceptance and humor, deviating from classic documentary formats. The curators will share insights, and the whole event will be in English. Entry is free, but make sure to grab a ticket at the Blickle Kino!
