Filippo Sorcinelli Opens Art and Perfume Lab in Mondolfo

Filippo Sorcinelli, a leader in artistic perfumery, has inaugurated a creative laboratory and gallery in Mondolfo, Marche, blending production and exhibition spaces. The project emphasizes craftsmanship, memory, and transcendence, with a focus on local artisanship and slow economy principles. The lab produces fragrances while the gallery displays works, making the creative process visible. Sorcinelli plans a school-workshop bridging Mondolfo and Santarcangelo, home to his Atelier LAVS for sacred vestments. The initiative is philanthropic and independent, without institutional support. Photographer Davide Sartori, winner of the Premio Luigi Ghirri 2025, documented the project for Giovane Fotografia Italiana. Sorcinelli's fragrances, such as Reliqvia and Santa Casa, already evoke local territories, including a church in Senigallia and the Basilica of Loreto. The gallery will continue with site-specific commissions and territorial chapters.
