Filippo Ragone's 'The Firm' Blends Sportswear with Hooligan Culture

In a new editorial for KALTBLUT magazine, photographer Filippo Ragone explores the intersection of sporting aesthetics and hooligan culture. Titled 'The Firm,' the fashion story features styling by Lorenzo Besana, with hair by Eugenio Colella and Daniele Cancemi, makeup by Noemi Auetasc, and post-production by Alessia Azzolini. The editorial draws visual parallels between the functionality of tracksuits and technical wear and the stylistic codes of English football firm culture, creating a tense, ritual-like atmosphere where fastenings serve as badges of belonging. The resulting aesthetic is hybrid, layered, and coded, emphasizing closures, collars, buttons, and zips as a visual language of stacked layers, sharp color blocks, and terrace-born codes. The shoot features nine models: Elissa (abc model management), Lando (Monster), Ragnheiður (The lab models), Nia (supreme mgmt), Sonia (special management), Kate (special management), Hanna (The lab models), Magnolia (Women), and Mary Jane (row model management). Brands used include Gosha Rubchinskiy, Burberry, Etro, Fred Perry x Raf Simons, Diesel, Le Coq Sportif X LC23, Nike, AMI Alexandre Mattiussi, London Underground, Levi's, and Replay. The project was produced in collaboration with AEternam Bagnato Archive.
