Fidenza Village StreetArt Festival Brings Urban Sculpture to Milan Design Week

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

The third edition of the Fidenza Village StreetArt Festival, curated by street artist Lucamaleonte, expands beyond traditional muralism to include urban sculpture and three-dimensional art. The festival transforms parts of the Fidenza Village shopping center, owned by The Bicester Collection, into a stage for street art. Among the works on display are Fidia Falaschetti's Egoji sculptures, part of a global itinerant street art project; Sten Lex's Confini XXII murals; and the Moai sculptural installation by the duo Urbansolid (Riccardo Cavalieri and Gabriele Castellani). The Moai pieces, 3D works inspired by Easter Island inhabitants, are featured in the exhibition Design Re – Evolution, curated by Interni magazine (Mondadori) for Milan Design Week, hosted at the University of Milan. An Art Talk on April 19 at the university featured Urbansolid, Falaschetti, and Lucamaleonte discussing evolutionary thinking as a design tool for inhabiting physical and digital territories. The festival underscores Fidenza Village's commitment to unconventional street art languages and transforming shopping into an experience surrounded by international artworks.
