Fictional Landscapes Exhibition in Dubai Features 28 Women Artists
Beginning November 9, 2024, Foundry Downtown Dubai will unveil an exhibition titled "Fictional Landscapes." This showcase will feature the work of 28 female artists from 12 different countries, including the UAE, Russia, and the USA, among others. Curated by Nadine Khalil, Alisa Bagdonaite, and Serafima Kostrova, the exhibition will run through December 15, 2024, and is supported by women-led galleries. The diverse artworks will delve into themes such as identity, migration, and societal issues, presenting a range of landscapes—natural, urban, and surreal—while striving to enhance the representation of women in the contemporary art scene.
