FIACAA Festival Launches in São Paulo with Call for Artists from 22 Ibero-American Countries
During the Latam Content Meeting in São Paulo, the 2027 FIACAA – Festival Ibero-Americano de Cinema, Artes e Audiovisual was officially announced. Set to take place in March 2024 in Lisbon and organized by the Entidade Regional de Turismo de Lisboa, the festival will showcase talent from 22 nations across multiple artistic fields. With a target audience of 600 million, it aims to honor the cultural richness of Ibero-America. Starting in June, visual artists can submit their applications through the forthcoming official website. The festival will present awards in euros across 12 categories, including film, photography, and music. The event's announcement occurred at the BNDES auditorium in Hotel Pullman, with attendees such as Bernardo Cardoso, Eneas Carlos Pereira, and Caio Carvalho.
