Il Festival delle Idee Pericolose lancia il suo primo programma cinematografico a Sydney
Il Festival delle Idee Pericolose (FODI) di Sydney si tuffa per la prima volta nel mondo del cinema con 'Dangerous Films: Old Reels, New Revelations', presentando nove film intriganti al Dendy Newtown dal 20 al 30 agosto. Curata da Danielle Harvey, la selezione include classici come 'Holy Motors' (2012) di Leos Carax, 'Gojira' (1954) di Ishirō Honda e 'The Piano' di Jane Campion, tra gli altri. Harvey sottolinea che l'obiettivo è rivalutare questi film con intuizioni contemporanee, dove il vero pericolo risiede nelle loro conseguenze, non solo nel valore shock. John Cameron Mitchell terrà una masterclass intitolata 'Just Be Punk' il 23 agosto e presenterà 'Shortbus' il 30 agosto, partecipando anche al Melbourne International Film Festival il 21 agosto.
