Festival dei Sensi 2025 in Puglia explores time and memory

The 16th edition of the Festival dei Sensi will take place from August 21 to 24, 2025, in the Valle d'Itria region of Puglia, spanning the towns of Martina Franca, Cisternino, Ostuni, and Fasano. The festival's theme is time and memory, featuring artists Gian Maria Tosatti, Maurizio Galimberti, and Margherita Morgantin. On August 21 at 22:30 at Masseria Sant'Elia in Martina Franca, Tosatti and philosopher Armando Massarenti will lead an event titled "Spazio – tempo ed esperienza. Arte a cinque dimensioni" addressing the relationship between spacetime and aesthetic experience. Photographer Maurizio Galimberti will present "Istantanee" on August 22 at 21:00 at Masseria Pavone, in dialogue with Antonella Pierno from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, discussing his mosaic-like photographic technique. Margherita Morgantin (born 1971 in Venice) will create a diffused exhibition titled "Sotto la montagna, sopra la montagna" across all four towns for the festival's duration, focusing on climate change through conceptual practice intersecting mathematics, philosophy, and language.
