Festival Cinematica Returns to Ancona with Body, City, Landscape Theme

The sixth edition of Festival Cinematica immagine in movimento, directed by Simona Lisi, runs in Ancona until April 14, 2019. The theme "Corpo, Città, Paesaggio" (Body, City, Landscape) explores spatial dynamics in the network age. Highlights include: Verticale Dance by Compagnia Il Posto at Palazzo degli Anziani, featuring aerial dance on the medieval skyscraper, part of the ITI Waterfront project with the Comune di Ancona; a screening of Franco Piavoli's "Il pianeta azzurro" at Cinema Azzurro on April 11; Masbedo's film "The Lack" (80 min) at Mole Vanvitelliana on April 12, with Nicolò Massazza interviewed by Giuseppe Borrone; and urban dance events citywide on April 13, including Popping for Parkinson's, a passeggiata metafisica by Valerio Sirna and Leonardo Delogu, and a new work by Helen Cerina. All events are free unless noted. The festival is supported by MARCHE TEATRO.
