Festa del Bianco Returns to Turin for Winter Solstice

The Festa del Bianco, a community celebration of light and rebirth, returns to Turin on December 21, 2017, at the Polo del '900. Now in its 21st year, the event originated from the Tappeto Volante project by the Castello di Rivoli's Education Department, aimed at fostering social integration in the San Salvario neighborhood. Participants engage with the color white through decoration, dress, and a shared meal, symbolizing unity and cultural diversity. The event aligns with Michelangelo Pistoletto's Rebirth-day and involves collaboration with ISMEL and the Scuola dell'Infanzia Bay.
