Ferrari Roma Spider Tailor Made on Display at Modena Museum

The Ferrari Roma Spider Tailor Made, a bespoke vehicle from Ferrari's personalization program, is now on view at the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena as part of the exhibition 'Ferrari One of a Kind,' running until February 17, 2025. The car features innovative laser-engraved aluminum body elements, including a prancing horse shield and a hood design customizable with a compass rose and Maranello coordinates. Its V8 biturbo engine incorporates recycled aluminum components, reducing production waste. The central seat mirroring is made from fabric with hand-stitched thread derived from recycled tires. Ecological materials such as chrome-free nappa leather, controlled-origin woods, and recycled sand for the central tunnel are used. Ferrari collaborated with Montblanc on a special Meisterstück pen coated in the same Oro Mida color as the car, with a handcrafted solid gold nib featuring a compass motif. The car also includes a travel set of luggage upholstered in the same leather as the interior. Museum director Michele Pignatti Morano stated that the installation aims to make the exclusive world of Tailor Made accessible to a broad audience, featuring an interactive wall for exploring materials and finishes. The Roma Spider combines a 620-horsepower V8 engine with an 8-speed DCT gearbox and a removable fabric roof, reviving a front-engine convertible after over fifty years.
