Ferrara's Secret Gardens Open for Interno Verde Festival
The Interno Verde festival, organized by the association Ilturco since 2016, will open Ferrara's most evocative private gardens to the public on September 12-13, 2020. The event promotes the historical, architectural, artistic, and botanical heritage of Ferrara and Mantova. Visitors can explore hidden medieval vegetable gardens behind typical red brick walls, flowering oases, zen geometries, hedge mazes, ancient trees, and unexpected arboretums. Detailed botanical, historical, and architectural information will be available online and on-site. A color volume with photographs will be given to participants who pre-book their visit.
