Fendi wraps Milan bookstores and newsstands for Fashion Week centenary
During Milan Fashion Week, Fendi is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a scenographic takeover of several historic bookstores and newsstands across the city. The initiative includes dedicated corners, window displays, and installations at Libreria Hoepli (founded 1870), Libreria Bocca in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the Largo Treves newsstand in Brera, the ADI Museum bookshop, and the Civic Portanuova and Civic Darsena newsstands. The Roman maison, which joined LVMH in 2000, has maintained a family-run structure for five generations. A special event coordinated by Silvia Venturini Fendi took place on February 26 at Spazio Fendi in Via Solari, featuring a show that included designs by Karl Lagerfeld. Later in 2025, Fendi will open a new flagship store on Via Montenapoleone in a monumental palace at the corner with Corso Matteotti, which will also house a restaurant by the Langosteria group. During the takeover, visitors can purchase two volumes: "Baguette hand in hand," chronicling collaborations with Italian artisans on the iconic Baguette bag (25 years old), and "Fendi Peekaboo-k," covering 15 years of the Peekaboo bag designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi. Limited signed editions are also available.
