Femi Luna releases 'Wash my Pain away' album recorded in former Canadian church

Femi Luna, a singer-songwriter from Herisau with Dutch roots, has released her second studio album titled 'Wash my Pain away'. The album features twelve emotional songs addressing themes like fear, freedom, and letting go. Recording took place at Studio Cimetière, a former stone church located in Quyon, Canada, during spring 2024. This marks her first major release in five years, following her previous album 'Library'. Luna's vocal performance benefits from the unique acoustics of the historic church space, creating an atmospheric sound that blends softness with strength. Her career includes recognition as 'SRfF 3 Best Talent', festival appearances, and opening shows for artists like Alice Phoebe Lou, The Slow Show, and Benjamin Amaru.
