Feltrinelli opens BookBubble in Milan to attract young readers
Feltrinelli has launched BookBubble, an experimental community bookstore in Milan at Corso Buenos Aires 49, spanning 250 square meters with a catalog of 14,000 titles. The space is designed to foster collective reading experiences, particularly for under-30s, through eight themed rooms. These include the Piazza dei Mondi central hub, the Corridoio delle Idee, the Stanza delle storie featuring mirrors by artist Martina Lorusso (Momusso), the Comics Gallery with 3,000 comics and manga titles, the Isola dei Tascabili for paperbacks, the Posto delle Emozioni with over 5,000 romance novels, the Officina del Mistero for noir and fantasy, and the Angolo del Pensiero for non-fiction covering topics like environmental crisis and gender equality. The Comics Gallery features wallpaper with 160 Feltrinelli Comics covers and a Pac-Man cabinet with 1980s design. Feltrinelli operates over 120 stores across Italy.
