Felipe Lipe, founding bassist of Spanish rock band Tequila, dies at 68

Felipe Gutiérrez, known as Felipe Lipe, the original bassist and co-founder of the Spanish rock band Tequila, has died at the age of 68. Lipe participated in all of the band's albums, which made Tequila an icon of Spanish music between the late 1970s and early 1980s. Lipe, of Toledo origin and brother of Rafa Muñoz (guitarist of Hombres G), co-founded the band in 1976. His death marks the loss of a key figure in the Spanish rock scene.
