February 2022 Highlights: Exhibitions on Colonialism, Brazilian Modernism Centenary, and Abramović's Method Cards

From 4 February to 29 May, Kunsthal Extra City in Antwerp showcases an exhibition featuring CATPC, Sammy Baloji, Raqs Media Collective, and Yelena Popova, focusing on global material extraction. In São Paulo, Galeria Leme will display over 60 small paintings by Gabriel Giucci from 19 February to 26 March. The centenary of Semana de Arte Moderna is celebrated with Emiliano Di Cavalcanti's works 'Amigos' at Pinacoteca and 'Raio-que-o-parta' at SESC 24 de Maio. The Mori Art Museum in Tokyo will host Chim↑Pom's retrospective titled 'Happy Spring' from 18 February to 29 May. Additionally, 'The Marina Abramović Method' will be published by Laurence King Publishing on 17 February 2022, and Andrew Doig's 'This Mortal Coil' is set for release on 3 February 2022. The Barbican Cinema will screen 'Homeland' from 2 to 23 February, while MO.CO. will present Max Hooper Schneider's exhibition from 12 February to 24 April. Lastly, the Freud Museum will feature 'Freud and China' from 12 February to 26 June, and Bandai Namco is set to release 'Elden Ring' on 25 February 2022.
