FDR's Grandson Lists Texas Ranch for $21.5 Million

Tony Roosevelt, the grandson of Franklin D. Roosevelt, has listed his Rolling R Ranch in North Texas for $21.5 million. Spanning over 1,300 acres in Clear Creek Valley, it's just over an hour from the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The ranch, developed over three decades, draws from the family's original Colorado property. It features hardwood forests, native grasslands, and mature pecan groves, plus seven miles of trails that support local wildlife like owls and bluebirds. The main residence includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a unique leopard-print powder room, alongside a stone fireplace. There's a screened porch that overlooks landscaped grounds with a pool and hot tub, plus a barndominium and horse barn. Blake Hortenstine noted the family's dedication to conservation, reflecting Theodore Roosevelt's and FDR's environmental efforts. The ranch also offers agricultural activities and recreational options like fishing and hiking.
