Fashion for Good: primo museo al mondo sulla moda sostenibile ad Amsterdam
Amsterdam has launched Fashion for Good, the world’s first museum focused solely on sustainable fashion. Designed by New York's Local Projects, known for iconic museums, this interactive space engages visitors about the environmental impacts of the fashion industry. The initiative aligns with Greenpeace's 2013 Detox campaign, endorsed by major brands including Zara and Nike. During Fashion Revolution Week in 2016, around 70,000 Twitter users sought transparency using the hashtag #whomademyclothes. The museum, located at Rokin 102, features an installation made from regenerated ECONYL® nylon and employs RFID bracelets for a tailored visitor experience. The fashion sector contributes approximately 1.2 billion tons of greenhouse gases annually.
