Farsettiarte Prato Auctions: Modern and Contemporary Art Highlights
At the end of May 2026, Farsettiarte in Prato will conduct two auctions: Contemporary Art on May 29 and Modern Art on May 30. The Modern Art auction will showcase a rare still life by Giorgio Morandi from 1921, estimated at €1.3-1.6 million, along with Carlo Carrà's 'Autunno in Toscana' from 1927 (estimated €120,000-160,000), and Felice Casorati's 'Maternità' from the 1950s (estimated €75,000-95,000). Notable post-war pieces include Giuseppe Capogrossi's 'Superficie 590' (estimated €400,000-600,000) and Emilio Vedova's 'Battaglia navale' from 1952-53 (estimated €140,000-220,000). The Contemporary Art auction features a serigraph by Andy Warhol, alongside works by Mimmo Rotella and Afro. The exhibition will be open from May 23 to May 30.
