Farsettiarte auctions feature Morandi, Casorati, Carrà, de Chirico
On May 29 and 30, Farsettiarte will conduct two auctions in Prato, showcasing significant works of Modern and Contemporary Art by prominent Italian artists from the 20th century. Among the standout pieces is Felice Casorati's "La madre (Maternità)", along with a rare still life by Giorgio Morandi from 1921, which was displayed at the III Quadriennale di Roma in 1939. Additionally, Carlo Carrà's "Autunno in Toscana" (1927), previously owned by musician Alfredo Casella and exhibited at the 1928 Venice Biennale, will be featured, as well as Giorgio de Chirico's "Piazza d'Italia" from 1963. Other notable artists include Filippo de Pisis, Giacomo Balla, and Andy Warhol, among others.
