Farnesina opens to public with Touring Club guided tours
The Farnesina Palace, situated in Rome, is home to Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and features a remarkable collection of modern art. This collection includes works from notable 20th-century Italian artists like Kounellis, Novelli, and Pistoletto, among others. Previously, it was not easy to visit, but now it welcomes the public via guided tours led by volunteers from the Touring Club Italiano, which also manages tours at the Quirinale Palace and other sites. Franco Iseppi, who heads the Touring Club Italiano, emphasized the significance of this program. Tours take place on the last Friday of each month from 10 am to 4 pm, and reservations are required at collezionefarnesina.esteri.it.
