Farmacia Wurmkos: Art and Mental Health in Sesto San Giovanni

Established in 2013 in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan, Farmacia Wurmkos serves as a modern art research facility operated by Fondazione Wurmkos onlus. The venue houses the Wurmkos laboratory, which draws on the 'basagliana' methodology that links art with mental health challenges. Curated by Simona Bordone and Pasquale Campanella, the exhibition program collaborates with various institutions and artists to create cultural initiatives that benefit the public. Ongoing projects include The wall and WAM, which encourage artist interactions with the space. Recently, a solo exhibition by Caterina Caserta featured contributions from Stefano Boccalini and Francesco Garbelli. Currently on display are photographs by Mario Gorni and Zefferina Castoldi until January 16, with upcoming projects from Alessandra Pioselli and Gabi Scardi, along with international artist showcases.
