FAMA Launches Online Catalogs and Expands Digital Presence During Quarantine
In Itu, São Paulo, the Fábrica de Arte Marcos Amaro (FAMA) has expanded its digital presence during the quarantine by introducing online catalogs. Established in 2018 within a repurposed textile factory, FAMA showcases the collection of collector Marcos Amaro and has featured artists such as Louise Bourgeois and Bispo do Rosário. A significant exhibition of Tarsila do Amaral's drawings is on the horizon. The '#FAMAonline' project offers daily content on social media, a drawing course led by Adalgisa Campos and Marcia Pastore, along with a podcast series hosted by Professor Luis Armando Bagolin. An app is scheduled for release in August, and the online catalogs will include around 5,000 items, beginning with works from Farnese de Andrade, Amadeo Luciano Lorenzato, and Flávio de Carvalho.
