FAM Curates 'Corpus Domini': Body-Focused Exhibition at Palazzo Reale, Milan

The exhibition titled 'Corpus Domini: Dal corpo glorioso alle rovine dell’anima' has commenced at Milan's Palazzo Reale, under the curation of Francesca Alfano Miglietti (FAM). Showcasing 111 pieces from 34 global artists, it delves into the human form through diverse artistic mediums. FAM has chosen works that confront unvoiced anxieties regarding humanity's ties to science, featuring artists such as Zharko Baheski, Franko B, Marc Quinn, and Carole A. Feuerman. The exhibition, which aims to inspire contemplation, is highlighted by Chiharu Shiota's shoes. It is dedicated to Lea Vergine and includes works by Christian Boltanski and Gino Strada. Palazzo Reale's director, Domenico Piraina, encourages visitors to approach the exhibit with an open perspective, reflecting on humanity's interconnectedness in a post-pandemic world.
