Fair Play Art Fair launches in London with free stands for selected artists

festival-fair · 2026-05-14

Fair Play Art Fair, a new artist-led fair founded by Ryan Stanier (creator of The Other Art Fair), will debut at One Marylebone in London from 15th–18th October 2026. The fair offers selected artists free exhibition stands, charging a 50% commission on sales during and for three months after the event, instead of upfront fees. It launches during Frieze London week, aiming to attract collectors, curators, and galleries. The curated programme includes immersive installations, sound art, dining, and live performances. A parallel platform, Fair Play Curates, will spotlight additional artists. The selection is overseen by an independent committee. Application fee is £70 + VAT. Participants receive promotional support via Flint PR. Stanier developed the model from over 15 years of experience with The Other Art Fair, which expanded to cities including London, Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, and Melbourne.
