cultural-heritage · 2026-04-26

The FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) will hold its annual Panorama Day on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in collaboration with Fondazione Zegna. The event, established in 2014, aims to promote Italian landscapes as cultural identity. Fifteen FAI properties across Italy will host activities including guided walks, panoramic observations, trekking, creative workshops, and family events. Key locations include Oasi Zegna in Trivero (Biella), Castello della Manta (Cuneo), Palazzo Moroni (Bergamo), Castello di Avio (Trento), Villa Rezzola (Lerici), Orto sul Colle dell'Infinito (Recanati), Villa Gregoriana (Tivoli), Baia di Ieranto (Nerano), Saline Conti Vecchi (Assemini, Cagliari), and Batteria Militare Talmone (Palau, Sassari). Oasi Zegna, a protected natural area since 1993 spanning 100 square kilometers, was developed by Ermenegildo Zegna in the 1930s with reforestation and a scenic road. The day includes a dawn concert at Recanati and a 'Paesaggio in musica' event at Rifugio Monte Marca. The initiative underscores the link between nature and culture, as stated by FAI.
