Facades+ Conference Returns to Washington, D.C. on May 15

On May 15, Washington, D.C. will host the Facades+ conference series, co-chaired by Ayers Saint Gross. The Grand Hyatt Washington DC will serve as the venue for this symposium, which will showcase case studies of both completed and upcoming institutional projects such as the AIA Global Campus, Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, the Newseum facade renovation (555 Penn), the Agora Institute, and the Bloomberg Student Center at Johns Hopkins University. Notable speakers include Rebecca Sharkey (EHDD), Felix Weber (RDH), and many others. The AIA Global Campus stands out as one of the first major renovations in the U.S. to achieve full decarbonization. Additionally, a Methods + Materials gallery will feature 23 building product companies.
