Fabrica30 Reunion Festival: Treviso celebrates 30 years of Fabrica
Fabrica, a modern communication research hub established in 1994 by Luciano Benetton and Oliviero Toscani, is set to commemorate its 30th anniversary with the Fabrica30 Reunion Festival on July 6, 2024, at Villa Pastega in Treviso. This free event, running from 10 AM to midnight, will bring together more than 100 former residents, known as 'fabricanti,' for a day filled with exhibitions, performances, workshops, conferences, concerts, DJ sets, and screenings. Among the distinguished alumni are Jaime Hayon, Pieter Hugo, Laia Abril, and Nico Vascellari. The festival will showcase a film lineup of 20 works from directors including Bill Morrison and Saodat Ismailova, while musical acts will feature Elana Sasson and DJs Bottin and Joseph Paul. Program director Carlos Casas revealed intentions for yearly reunions. Fabrica has welcomed over 800 fabricanti from 72 nations.
