Fábio Baroli and Monica Piloni Open Solo Shows at Zipper Galeria in São Paulo

Zipper Galeria in São Paulo presents simultaneous solo exhibitions by artists Fábio Baroli and Monica Piloni, marking their first individual shows at the venue. Baroli's exhibition, titled SELVA-MATA, features paintings inspired by the Atlantic Forest landscapes, exploring human impact on the environment. Born in Uberaba and based in São Paulo, Baroli aims to establish intercommunication through art about human relationships with nature. Monica Piloni, from Curitiba, presents Ciclo, a series of sculptures that distort the human body through dismemberment, omissions, or multiplication of elements, creating unnatural and often unsettling forms. Using molds from her own body, Piloni modifies anatomy to produce mysterious objects that challenge recognition. The artist investigates the pleasure behind fear and depends on audience reaction. Both exhibitions run from May 11 to June 8 at Zipper Galeria's location at R. Estados Unidos 1494, Jardim América, São Paulo.
