Fabbrica dell'Esperienza: Milan's Hidden Art and Thought Space

In Milan's Navigli district, the Fabbrica dell'Esperienza (Experience Factory) operates as a cultural association and multidisciplinary art house. Founded in 2012, it originally focused on theater and film training but has evolved into a comprehensive 'Casa dell'Arte' fostering beauty and culture. Located at Via Brioschi 60, the space features a loft with high ceilings, exposed beams, and eclectic furnishings. Under the direction of Irina Casali, artistic heir of Renzo Casali, it hosts Italy's first accredited school for the Meisner Technique, a respected acting method emphasizing listening and presence. The venue also houses Salti Teatrali, a experimental theater research group led by Alessandro Zatta, and Dora Dorizzi's pedagogical area offering creative workshops for children and adolescents. A notable program is SAFFO (Sperimentazioni artistiche fuori orbita), now in its eighth edition, focusing on the theme 'Energy and Form: Principles of Creation.' This series features discussions with aesthetics professors, theoretical philosophers, actors, directors, psychoanalysts, anthropologists, and writers, with proceedings published by Jaca Book.
