F4 Photography Festival Returns to Pieve di Soligo with Two Exhibitions

The photography festival F4, un’idea di fotografia, now in its eleventh edition, is set to launch in Pieve di Soligo, organized by Fondazione Francesco Fabbri. Curated by Carlo Sala, the first exhibition titled Fosfeni draws inspiration from a visual phenomenon and a poetry collection by local poet Andrea Zanzotto. It showcases renowned figures like Luigi Ghirri and Mario Cresci alongside rising talents such as Lidia Bianchi, Silvia Bigi, and others. This exhibition delves into the interplay between photography and landscape, challenging conventional perceptions. The second exhibition, The image as process, co-curated with The Cool Couple, features twenty artists, selected by a committee with members from MAMbo in Bologna and MuFoCo in Cinisello Balsamo, examining the role of images in modern society. The festival will also host residencies, workshops, and a contemporary photography prize throughout the year.
