F.C. Gundlach's Centenary Exhibition at Bucerius Kunst Forum, Hamburg

The Bucerius Kunst Forum in Hamburg is set to showcase 'F.C. Gundlach. You'll Never Watch Alone', marking the first significant exhibition of the renowned German fashion photographer's oeuvre since his passing in 2021. This event will take place from 8 May to 16 August 2026 and is curated by Sebastian Lux, Franziska Mecklenburg, and Prof. Dr. Sophie-Charlotte Opitz. Celebrating Gundlach's centenary, it is part of the 9th Triennial of Photography Hamburg 2026. The exhibition will display over 200 pieces, including 130 photographs by Gundlach and 70 additional works from his collection, with contributions from the F.C. Gundlach Foundation, examining influences and power dynamics alongside pieces by Richard Avedon, Erwin Blumenfeld, Regina Relang, and Cindy Sherman.
