Ezgi Günestekin's Italian Debut at Mucciaccia Gallery Project
The Mucciaccia Gallery Project in Rome is hosting 'Life Is Good', marking the inaugural solo exhibition in Italy for Turkish artist Ezgi Günestekin, from March 28 to May 25, 2026. Established in 2006 by Massimiliano Mucciaccia and currently directed by Giulia Abate, the gallery emphasizes emerging international talents. This exhibition includes twenty pieces created with acrylic and marker, highlighting Günestekin's distinctive style of layered colors and bold lines. Her figures inhabit intricate visual environments, as seen in works such as 'After the Silence' and 'No Surprises'. Born in Batman, Turkey, in 1993, she studied architecture at Istanbul Bilgi University and visual arts at UCLA. Günestekin, daughter of artist Ahmet Günestekin, has been on the board of the Günestekin Art Foundation since 2020.
